Rose Wilson
Podiatrist
Since obtaining BSC in Podiatry at the University of Northampton, Rose has worked for the NHS as a Senior Podiatrist and worked within the Private sector. Rose’s expertise stems from nail surgery, MSK/Biomechanics, running ulcer clinics for both diabetic and non-diabetic clients as well as a PODSi (A Podiatrist with a specialist interest in Diabetes). Rose is a Member of the Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC Registered.
Helen Thompson
Receptionist
Is married and Mum to 3 teenagers who keep her very busy, there is never a dull moment in her household! She has a Cavapoo dog, Buddy, and his favourite walk is around Rushden Lakes where he gets lots of attention and searches for food scraps. Helen enjoys travelling, eating out and relaxing on the sofa when the opportunity arises.
Mary Marsh
Founder
Mary was the magic hands, caring persona and amazing lady who started Saxon Footcare towards the end of 2019. Mary originally had her own practice in Irchester for over 15 years before relocating to the picturesque village of Harrold, North Bedfordshire.
Mary officially opened Saxon Footcare December 2019 and not long afterwards Covid hit, not just the UK but the whole world, and the practice was forced to close for a few months. Mary was determined to care and look after her clients and re-opened in July 2020.
Unfortunately, Mary was diagnosed with Cancer later that same year and still determined to carry on, she fought the cancer and chemotherapy with limited time away from the clinic. Sadly, the cancer beat Mary and she passed away in April 2022. After so much determination and so many setbacks Saxon Footcare was determined to continue business in her memory. Mary’s daughter and son have taken the business over.
Maggie
Mascot
Maggie will always be loved by the Saxon Footcare team. She supported and kept Mary sane in the early days of setting Saxon Footcare up in Harrold. Maggie is looked after and spoilt by Mary’s family since her passing earlier in 2022.
